This site is intended to help unite the extended Scheffy Family - now spread out over the United States, from it's starting point in the Perkiomen and Lehigh Valleys of Pennsylvania, beginning with our forefather in America, Johannes Heinrich Scheffy......and specifically his great-great-grandson George Scheffy (1846-1899).

Researching the Scheffy surname and the countless others related through marriage; I have come to realize again and again, how small our world really is. Several times, I have come accross points in history where different family ancestors knew each other - and even married each other hundreds of years apart.
